If the stress of hosting, cooking and making time for holiday relaxation feels daunting, it may be time to scope out some of the heat-and-serve options out there for your Thanksgiving supper. Grocery stores like Whole Foods and Publix have long offered prepared, catered Thanksgiving meals that you can pre-order for pickup, but Costco’s take-and-bake dinner offers a little extra luxury: They’ll deliver it right to your door.

The 2 pounds of dressing (or stuffing) included in the kit is a simple heat-and-eat dish that should appeal to those who love classic cornbread dressing. The pan is loaded with crumbled cornbread, plus eggs, buttermilk, broth, celery, onion and sage for home-cooked flavor without the time spent in the kitchen. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes also arrive frozen and ready to heat and serve, so you can put away the cheese grater and the potato masher.

You will have to do a little cooking, so get creative with the turkey, corn and green beans. The kit features a 5-pound Amish farm-raised turkey breast with the skin on. The turkey is pre-brined and netted, so you can cook it in the oven as is without a problem—but if you love to baste your bird according to a family recipe or coat it with a thin layer of butter packed full of fresh herbs, you can do that, too!

The same goes for the whole green beans, which come ready to thaw and cook. You could make it easy on yourself and simply steam them on the stovetop, but you could also use them in a freshgreen bean casseroleor roast them in a fun dressing, like ourLemon-Garlic Vinaigrette. Likewise, the juicy corn—already washed and trimmed away from the cob—can be prepped however your family prefers it.

Of course, this meal kit will require you to make room in the fridge and freezer for your goodies and spend time in the kitchen supervising the heating process, but it will definitely take some of the effort out of your already busy day. With the extra time, you can finally catch up with a pal or sibling you only see at the holidays, and you may even catch a couple quarters of the Cowboys game. You could also use that time to add a traditional twist to the Costco menu and make a family recipe you look forward to each year. If you’re not much for heirloom holiday dishes, you could also round out the meal with a roasted veggie, like ourRoasted Honeynut Squash, or a fall salad, like ourPear, Gorgonzola & Walnut Salad.
