While best known as the face ofThe Real Housewivesfranchise and as the host of his own late-night talk show on Bravo, Andy Cohen’s interests extend beyond celebrities. He is admittedly turning into New York’s latest food connoisseur, and we’re all about it.
“I’m not on TikTok, but somehow the algorithm of Instagram is feeding me a lot more food stuff,” Cohen tellsEatingWellin an exclusive interview. “I don’t know what I’m doing, but I have become obsessed with watching things like easy-to-make pastas or ‘the best pizza in New York’ or ‘the best sandwich in New York.’ I’m now watching these videos compulsively, they make me so hungry and they’re turning me into a foodie. I’m happy to be in this algorithm—it’s taking me out of theHousewivesalgorithms.”

EatingWell:Do you have a favorite snack while you’re on set?
Cohen:I’m a huge dark chocolate guy. I love green apples, I love pistachios, I love almonds and I love Doritos. Those are my five.
EatingWell:Favorite Doritos flavor?
Cohen:Either classic Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch.
EatingWell:What’s your favorite form of “me time” as a busy dad?
Cohen:I like listening to music and I like going to see music. I like just chilling with friends. My social life at this point is kind of just dinners with friends.

EatingWell:Could you talk more about your partnership with Fresca Mixed and your thoughts on the new flavors?
Cohen:I’ve known for 15 years that Fresca mixes great with booze, whether it’s tequila or vodka. This is such an organic partnership because I’ve been such a Fresca fan and they just announced four new vodka-based flavors. The Fresca Mixed Black Cherry Citrus is my favorite. The Peach Citrus is really great, too. They taste great, are perfect for the summer, perfect for a party and perfect on the go. And I’m really excited.
EatingWell:What’s your favorite place to drink Fresca Mixed?
Cohen:Well, it’s anywhere, that’s the great thing about it. I can bring it to a party—I live on the beach so I just throw a bunch in a cooler and I can host a party on the beach, and there’s something for everybody.
