Once heated, the apples start to soften and release their juices, and the pectin from the fruit causes everything to thicken into a caramel-like consistency.Jaime MilanThe result is a delicious apple pie-like dessert that will make your kitchen smell incredible. Plus, the dessert is actually pretty healthy.Apples are a good source of fiber, cinnamon can help balance your blood sugar and there are only 4 grams of added sugar in this recipe. Not to mention, if you do follow WW, this dessert only has 1 point (and if you leave out the sugar, it’s totally free on the plan!).
