There’s an active recall on a popular brand of protein powder, according to the Food and Drug Administration.This is due to an undeclared allergen in the product.
Over 2 Million Cans of Coconut Water Recalled Due to Botulism Risk
This protein powder is being recalled because it may contain undeclared peanut residue, following a report from a customer who experienced an allergic reaction. Those who have a peanut allergy may experience an allergic reaction as serious as anaphylaxis if they unknowingly consume this product. Symptoms of anaphylaxis include hives, swelling, trouble breathing, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, tightness of the throat and cardiac arrest.If you are showing signs of anaphylactic shock after eating this recalled protein powder, call 911 immediately.
