How long have you loved Trader Joe’s? In 2024, fans celebrated 15 years of raising their voices in support of their favorite grocery store as part of theTrader Joe’s 15th Annual Customer Choice Awards.
The products that made it onto this year’s list speak to the staggering variety of Trader Joe’s offerings. Whether you’re on the hunt for a hearty entree, a crowd-pleasing appetizer or a festive seasonal beverage, the beloved chain has it all.
To leave room for new competitors, five items were added to theProduct Hall of Famelast year. That means that no matter how strong your affection for Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar, Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets or Mandarin Orange Chicken may be, it’s not eligible for this year’s awards. Best Overall & Favorite Snack: Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips
For the second year in a row, Trader Joe’s answer to Takis took two of the most hotly contested crowns. The tangy, lightly spiced crisps beat out even the cult favoriteKimbap, the Korean-style rice rolls that are known to fly off shelves as soon as they’re stocked. The runners-up for Best Overall also included two differentSoup Dumplings, both the Chicken and Pork & Ginger flavors.Butternut Squash Mac & Cheeseproved it has its own followers with a fifth-place finish.
Among the tortilla chips’ competitors in the snack category, they bestedOrganic Elote Corn Chip Dippers, another delightful and beloved snack option.
Favorite Beverage: Apple Cider (seasonal)
It takes real devotion for a seasonal product to win a category, but the spiced cider is simply that delicious. Even the ultra-refreshing French Market Sparkling Lemonade couldn’t defeat the just-sweet-enough cider this year. Other contenders included spicyTriple Ginger Brew, 100% Tangerine Juice andNon-Dairy Brown Sugar Flavored Oat Creamer.

Seems obvious, right? The vibrant and sweet fruit is a daily habit for many of us. And at 19 cents for a conventional banana and 29 cents for an organic one, it’s a cost-effective addition to breakfast or a snack. The popular competitor even managed to keepTeeny Tiny Avocadosout of the No. 1 spot.
Favorite Appetizer: Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip
What party is complete without a dynamite dip? This rich starter combines spinach and artichokes with Swiss and Parmesan cheeses; it’s a utility player that can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. The theme of cheesy treats pervades this category, withMac and Cheese BitesandParmesan Pastry Pupscoming in second and third.
Favorite Breakfast & Brunch: Hashbrowns
Many of us can probably remember a fast food or diner breakfast that included a crispy hash-brown patty. Trader Joe’s makes that morning favorite an at-home reality with its convenient 10-pack. Its runners-up take shoppers from classic comfort to a chic patisserie. Not one but three different croissants—Chocolate, Almond and the limitedDouble Chocolateversions—all earned a spot on the list.
Favorite Lunch & Dinner: Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice
Convenient, flavorful prepared meals are part of what makes Trader Joe’s a favorite around the country. And the Butter Chicken meal is no exception, with shoppers pronouncing it their favorite ready-to-eat lunch or dinner option at the store. The aromatic stew beat runner-upChicken Tikka Masala, but the rest of the top five included Steamed Pork & Ginger, Chicken Soup Dumplings andVegetable Fried Ricemaking the cut.

Favorite Sweet Treat: Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches
To earn the descriptor “sublime,” a dessert has to be pretty darn special. And these ice cream sandwiches are.
