First up, smoothies. Crews has been a fan of smoothies since the start of his health journey, even before they were cool.
“I remember people were like, ‘Smoothies? This is the way you can get your calories in and have your protein?’” theBrooklyn Nine-Nineactor reflects. “It’s a meal and it’s a drink. That’s how old I am, because people didn’t ‘smoothie.’ There was no smoothie. It was like either ice cream or water.”
His favorite smoothie flavors include strawberry, mixed berry, citrus and peanut butter. But it’s clear that the nutty concoction is his favorite of the bunch.
“I love peanut butter, man,” Crews says. “With the Greek yogurt, I feel the muscles just building. This is some healthy fat, healthy protein [and] the Greek yogurt is great for probiotics.”
