There’s an active recall on SunChips products in Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.This was announced after a seasoning supplier notified the company that an ingredient was potentially contaminated withSalmonella.
While there are no illnesses connected to this recall,Salmonellainfection can be a serious sickness for young children, pregnant individuals, those age 65 or older and people with weakened immune systems.Common symptoms ofSalmonellainfection include fever, stomach cramps and diarrhea, so if you’re experiencing any of these symptoms after eating the recalled products, contact your health care provider as soon as possible.
