Pour in espresso (or coffee) and stir to dissolve the sugar.Heat milk, either with an electric milk frother or in the microwave, just until warm to the touch, about 45 seconds. If heating in the microwave, whisk the warm milk vigorously until a light foam appears or use a handheld milk frother.Pour the milk into the mug and spoon the froth on top.
