2large cloves garlic, grated

5jarred hot cherry peppers, seeded and coarsely chopped

½cupchopped fresh parsley

DirectionsBring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup cooking water, then drain the pasta and set aside; wipe the pot dry.Meanwhile, drain sardines, reserving the oil. Halve the sardines lengthwise.Add olive oil to the pot and heat over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add cherry peppers and the sardines and their oil; cook for 1 minute. Return the pasta to the pot, along with the reserved pasta water.
