DirectionsPlace jalapeño and agave syrup in a cocktail shaker. Muddle with a wooden spoon handle or a muddling tool, pressing on the jalapeño to release its flavor. Add mezcal, lime juice, triple sec and salt. Half-fill the shaker with ice; cover and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds. Strain the mixture evenly into 2 ice-filled rocks glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and jalapeño slices, if desired.Originally appeared: EatingWell.com, April 2021
