Ingredients
1/4cupinstant coffee
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
1/4cupboilingwater
2largeegg whites(see Tip)
1teaspooncocoa powder
Ice
2ouncescoffee liqueur
2ouncesfreshly brewedespresso(1/4 cup)
1ouncevodka
6coffee beansfor garnish (optional)
Directions
Combine instant coffee and sugar in a heatproof medium bowl. Add boiling water; beat with an electric mixer on high speed until the mixture is thickened and very fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add egg whites and cocoa. Beat on high speed until the mixture holds its shape, about 5 minutes (the mixture will deflate first, and then it will get thicker). Divide between 2 coupe glasses and flatten the tops.
Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add coffee liqueur, espresso and vodka. Cover and shake until chilled. Divide between the glasses, pouring through the middle of the whipped coffee mixture so it rises. Place 3 coffee beans on the foam of each cocktail for garnish, if desired.

Nutrition Facts(per serving)
- Daily Values (DVs) are the recommended amounts of nutrients to consume each day. Percent Daily Value (%DV) found on nutrition labels tells you how much a serving of a particular food or recipe contributes to each of those total recommended amounts. Per the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the daily value is based on a standard 2,000 calorie diet. Depending on your calorie needs or if you have a health condition, you may need more or less of particular nutrients. (For example, it’s recommended that people following a heart-healthy diet eat less sodium on a daily basis compared to those following a standard diet.)
(-) Information is not currently available for this nutrient. If you are following a special diet for medical reasons, be sure to consult with your primary care provider or a registered dietitian to better understand your personal nutrition needs.
