In arecent Instagram video, Drummond showed how she whips up herPeach-Whiskey Barbecue Chicken, which she describes as a “winner of a chicken dinner.”

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this recipe, which yields 6 servings:

After preheating your oven to 300 degrees, heat your oil and butter in a large rimmed skillet or pot on medium-high heat. Make sure your pot or pan of choice can fit the chicken thighs and is oven-safe.

Add 4 chicken thighs at a time to the large pan, each seasoned with salt and pepper beforehand. Once both sides of the chicken are browned, remove from the heat and set aside, cooking the rest of the chicken thighs until all are done.

Dispose of half of the grease from the pan before returning it to the heat. Add your diced onion to the pan and cook for two minutes while stirring. Then, pour whiskey into the pot—be careful if you’re using a gas stovetop! Stir in and let the whiskey reduce for two more minutes before adding in the barbecue sauce, peach preserves, Worcestershire sauce, garlic cloves and water. In the video, Drummond seasoned the mixture with salt and garlic powder before combining it with half of her sliced peaches.

Once everything is mixed together, return your cooked chicken to the pan, skin-up. Drummond topped off the chicken with the rest of her peach slices before covering the pot with a lid. Cook in the oven for 90 minutes.

Since this chicken skillet only requires one pot, expect simple cleanup alongside mouthwatering flavors. For more easy chicken dinner recipes, check out thesecozy one-pot chicken dinners to make this fall.
