There’s an active recall on a popular Taylor Farms salad kit sold in Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.This is due to a sample testing positive forSalmonellabacteria, meaning the foodborne illness could be in consumers’ homes.

If your salad kit matches the recall information, throw it away or return it to your place of purchase for a refund.Salmonellainfection (commonly known as salmonellosis) can be especially harmful for young children, people aged 65 or older, those who are pregnant and for immunocompromised individuals. Common symptoms include fever, headache, nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea.If you are experiencing any of these signs after consuming the recalled salad, contact your health care provider immediately.
