Nestlé USA isactively recallingapproximately 440,500 Starbucks-branded gift sets, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. This is due to a burn and laceration hazard.

The defective mugs were sold in the following 2023 holiday gift sets: Starbucks Holiday Gift Set with 2 Mugs, Starbucks Classic Hot Cocoa and Mug, Starbucks Peppermint and Classic Hot Cocoas and Mug, and Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee and Mug.

These gift sets were sold online and in stores from November 2023 through January 2024 at Target, Walmart and through Nexcom nationwide. If you have one of the faulty mugs on hand, stop using it immediately. Return it to its place of purchase or contact Nestlé USA for a full refund.

To receive a refund through Nestlé, visit theirconsumer contact pageand scroll down to “Leave Us a Message,” click on “Complaint,” select “Recall” from the drop-down menu, attach a photo of your mug or the gift set identifier code, complete the form and send. You do not need proof of receipt to receive a refund in this recall.
