Tyson Foods, Inc. just announced a recall on approximately 29,819 pounds of chicken nugget products, according to theDepartment of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. This is due to a foreign matter contamination.

The contamination was discovered after Tyson received consumer complaints about finding small metal fragments in the product. There has been one reported oral injury in connection with this recall.

The products were shipped to distributors in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin for retail purchase. If you have one of the affected products, throw it away immediately or return it to your place of purchase. And if you are experiencing health concerns after eating this recalled product, contact your health care provider immediately.
