Ground Beef
There are two ongoing nationwide alerts related to ground beef products. Both have been issued due to potentialE. coli O157:H7contamination.
The second recall alerts us to 16,000 pounds of ground beef sold at Walmart locations across the country. If you have any plastic-wrapped trays of ground beef in your fridge or freezer, you’ll want to check them immediately. 02of 05Gibson Farms Organic WalnutsAccording to the FDA, there’s been a recent recall on Gibson Farms Organic Light Halves and Pieces shelled walnuts.This is due to anE. coli O157:H7contamination connected to 12 reports of illness, including hospitalization.The affected walnuts were distributed and sold at local and regional grocery chains in the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. No injuries have been announced in connection to this recall. If you have the recalled product, Primal Kitchen asks that you dispose of it immediately and contact their customer service line at 1-888-774-6259 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.

Planters Peanuts
The recalled products were shipped and sold in Publix locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, as well as Dollar Tree stores in Georgia and South Carolina.
