Botulism is a potentially deadly illness.Symptoms can show up anywhere from six hours to two weeks after ingesting contaminated food. Symptoms of botulism include generalized weakness, dizziness, double-vision, trouble speaking or swallowing, difficulty breathing, muscle weakness, bloating and constipation. If you exhibit any of the symptoms of botulism, seek medical attention immediately.
