DirectionsMuddle 4 raspberries in a cocktail shaker. Add vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, pomegranate juice and rosewater, if using. Fill the shaker three-fourths full with ice. Cover and shake until chilled, then strain the liquid into a cocktail glass. Thread the remaining 4 raspberries on a cocktail stick to garnish the cocktail.TipYou can adjust the amount of simple syrup depending on how tart your pomegranate juice is. If using a bottled juice that is quite sweet, scale the simple syrup back to ½ ounce. To make your own simple syrup, combine 1 cup each granulated sugar and water in a small pan and heat just until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is clear. Refrigerate until cold.
