½teaspoonsalt

¼teaspoonground pepper

⅓cupshredded extra-sharp Cheddar cheese

¼cupsour cream

2slicescooked bacon, chopped

Snipped chives or scallion greens for garnish

Cracked black pepper (optional)

DirectionsPosition oven rack 6 inches from broiler. Preheat to 400°F. Lightly coat a large rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.Arrange zucchini rounds in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake on the upper rack until just tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven. Turn broiler to high.Evenly top the zucchini with cheese. Broil until melted and lightly browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
