⅓cupbrown lentils, rinsed and drained

⅓cupdiced cooked ham (2 ounces)

½smallonion, cut into thin wedges

½teaspoondried thyme, crushed

1cupfresh spinach

DirectionsCombine broth, water, celery, carrot, lentils, ham, onion and thyme in a 1 1/2-quart slow cooker (see Tip).Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 8 hours or on High for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. If no heat setting is available, cook for 5 1/2 to 6 hours.Before serving, stir in spinach.TipsTip: For easy cleanup, line your slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner.
