DirectionsCombine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lavender. Let stand until the flavors meld and the mixture cools, about 30 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve; discard the lavender.Transfer the lavender syrup to a large pitcher. Add lemon juice, salt and the remaining 3 cups water; stir well to combine.Divide the lemonade among 8 ice-filled glasses.
