Jeremiah Langhorne is the chef and co-owner of The Dabney in Washington, D.C. Born and raised in Virginia, Jeremiah spent time in kitchens there before moving to Charleston to stage under chef Sean Brock at McCrady’s, one of Charleston’s most iconic restaurants. After completing a stage at Noma in Copenhagen, Langhorne returned to McCrady’s as sous chef. He worked alongside Brock for more than five years before returning to his roots in 2013 to focus his efforts on opening his own restaurant. The Dabney opened in 2015 in D.C.’s Shaw neighborhood, serving modern American food with strong regional and historical influences.

Jeremiah and his partners opened Petite Cerise, located in a historic row house in D.C.’s Shaw area, in March 2023. The all-day French bistro concept is an homage to Jeremiah’s love of France and French cuisine and offers weekday lunch, weekend brunch and daily dinner service.
