Aldi has just expanded their recall on popular produce items sold in five states, according to the Food and Drug Administration.This is due to a potentialListeria monocytogenescontamination.

As an expansion of arecent vegetable recallaffecting over 15 types of produce, the following Aldi products are being added to the list, sold in Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia locations:

If you have any of the above products on hand, dispose of it immediately or return it to your local Aldi store for a full refund.Listeriainfection—also known as listeriosis—can be serious for those age 65 or older, pregnant, immunocompromised or for young children.Common symptoms are fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, while severe signs include headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and convulsions. Contact your health care provider if you are experiencing any of these symptoms after consuming the affected products from Aldi.
