I’m decidedly not a morning person. In fact, I often sleep through my alarms. Out of necessity, I typicallyskip breakfastin an effort to start my day on time, but recently, I’ve been feeling my stomach rumbling long before lunch. Searching for a way to get in my morning meal without having to wake up early, I searched for a breakfast I could batch on Sundays and eat throughout the week.
Then, while scrolling through social media, I found my answer. In aTikTok video, food influencer Emily Mariko made a giant batch of her viralovernight oatsrecipe, inspiring me to do the same. But first, I needed to snag a jumbo food storage container like the one Mariko uses for meal prep.

According toMariko’s Substack, she eats overnight oats three times a week, so it’s no surprise that the ultra-organized creator would prepare large batches. Her recipe is simple: oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, milk, maple syrup and yogurt. She typically usesGlasslock containersfor storage, but in this video, she uses a rectangular container much larger than anything Glasslock makes. I tracked down a similar oversized, airtight container, and right now, it’s$15 at Amazon.
The BPA-free plastic container is microwave-, freezer- and dishwasher-safe. It’s also incredibly durable. In fact, according to the brand, it can last up to 3 million uses. Best of all, shoppers say you can trust itsairtight seal. The lid has four snaps and a silicone lining to prevent leaks and spills while locking in freshness.
Shoppers have found countless creative uses for this sizable container. Onecustomer claimsit keeps bread “fresh for a couple of weeks, maybe longer if I hadn’t finished it.” Othersuse theirsto store pantry goods like beans, flours, and grains. “It fits a full bag of party size potato chips,” notedanother shopper.
Batching food is a great way to save time throughout the week, which is why this oversized container from Lock & Lock is essential in any busy kitchen. This large container can help you save time and take your meal prep game to the next level.Snag yourstoday.
