DirectionsStir sugar, water and lavender together in a small saucepan; bring to simmer over high heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is aromatic, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat; let steep for 30 minutes. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer, discarding solids; set the syrup aside.
